Who We Are

The Freeman Group, which was established in 1985 by Jim and Edmond Freeman encompasses two entities: The Freeman Management Corporation and Freeman & Associates Realtors, Inc. The Freeman Management Corporation (FMC) is the management and development arm and Freeman & Associates Realtors (F&A) is the brokerage firm.

FMC has managed commercial real estate in the South from Montgomery, AL, to Memphis and Knoxville TN to Bowling Green, KY and of course Nashville TN its home base. Today FMC manages over 700,000 square feet of office, retail and self storage in the greater Nashville area. FMC is now the management arm of StorPlace Self Storage in the greater Nashville area.

Under the leadership of Ed Freeman, FMC has developed various quality real estate projects in Memphis and Nashville. This includes Shurgard Storage centers and StorPlace Self Storage centers.

Freeman & Associates Realtors founded by Jim Freeman, Ed’s father has been brokering commercial property in the Nashville area since 1973.
